A new approach to signal transmission

A new approach to signal transmission

White Magic cables are the result of over a decade of refinement in high-end cable design. At the heart of the White Magic philosophy is a belief that signal integrity isn’t just about conductivity — it’s about controlling the environment around the signal: mechanical, electrical, and electromagnetic.

The White Magic design doesn’t aim to sound impressive — it aims to get out of the way. These cables don’t shout; they reveal. They are characterized by a lack of glare, a natural tonal balance, and an uncanny ability to convey timing, space, and emotional presence.

They don’t just transmit music faithfully, but by reducing broadband noise, they give your components the chance to perform their best, unencumbered with noise.

Whether used in analog or digital applications, they make systems more engaging, more human, and more real. And of course, More Musical

Conductor Design

Conductor Design

Each White Magic cable uses a custom-made solid-core conductor with unusual mechanical and electromagnetic properties. Instead of relying on conventional high-conductivity metals, we chose a material that offers exceptional resistance to vibration, low microphonic susceptibility, and a high degree of natural field damping. This conductor behaves very differently from copper or silver — and sounds very different too. The wire is housed in PTFE (Teflon) tubing for ultra-low dielectric absorption and stable geometry.

Screening Architecture

Screening Architecture

All White Magic cables use a directional, resistively-terminated shielding system designed not to reflect RF energy, but to absorb and dissipate it. This multi-layered shielding approach is inspired more by Stealth Radar and RF anechoic chamber design than by traditional audio cable thinking.

Higher-tier models employ multiple independent shielding layers, each separated by low-loss dielectric barriers and terminated with precision resistors. The lengths and spacing of these layers are carefully chosen using prime number relationships, a method we found highly effective at suppressing resonance and standing waves across a wide frequency band.

This approach results in a cable that does not merely block interference — it refuses to participate in it.

Passive Field Control

Passive Field Control

The White Magic Prime USB cables include a custom-made field conditioning module we call the keg. Molded from a composite of crystalline and magnetic materials suspended in epoxy and cured under a high-voltage electric field, the keg acts as a passive absorber and field stabilizer. It damps cable resonances, dissipates parasitic energy, and contributes to the effortless, grounded sound that defines the Prime level.

How do they sound?

White Magic cables don’t impress by exaggeration — they impress by disappearing. From the first note, you’ll notice an immediate lack of coloration: instruments and voices sound unforced, natural, and true to the recording. There’s a sense of dynamic freedom — music rises and falls with authority, yet never feels hyped or aggressive.

Bass is tight, deep, and articulate, anchoring the performance without bloom or bloat. Clarity and resolution are exceptional, revealing fine inner details and textures without sounding analytical or etched. The soundstage remains stable and coherent, even in dense passages — imaging is precise, with instruments locked in place and ambient cues fully resolved.

Most importantly, White Magic cables are deeply musical. They communicate emotion and intent, not just sound. Whether used in analog or digital roles, they draw you into the performance with a sense of ease and engagement that keeps you listening.
